Service Team

How can you serve at Assembly Park?

Are you interested in joining the team of volunteers who help “behind the scenes” to keep Assembly Park Summer Camps running smoothly? Whether it is during the Wisconsin/Northern Michigan month of camp or another time during the summer, here are a few areas you can help:

Cabin Leaders

The boots on the ground for leading students through their week at camp as they play, eat, sleep and seek the Lord.

Kitchen Staff

One of the top aspects of our camp is our newly refurbished Mess Hall and the food served there! We need helpers who make this process streamlined and safe! We are looking for people to fill the following positions:

  1. Lead Cook - a paid position for the month of July to serve our WI/NM District Camps
  2. Volunteer Team Lead - a paid position to train the volunteers on their duties and sanitizing standards. Multiple week availability preferred.
  3. Dishwashers - making sure everything gets washed after meals.
  4. Prep Cooks - to help with the preparation and execution of meals.

Lifeguards

One of our most important safety aspects of camp is making sure that our kids have fun in the water safely! We are willing to train those who want to help in this role; even if you can only serve for a week! This position is not just for the month of July but for other camps we may host throughout the summer!

Maintenance

Help us keep the grounds safe for our campers while they are on campus. Some construction experience would be helpful.

Housekeeping

We need those who help keep our camp clean and safe for those staying. Housekeeping involves maintaining the bathrooms, other common areas of the campground and helping with basic laundry needs.

Snack Stand

Who doesn't have good camp memories of the snacks at camp? Be a part of the team that helps students spend their cash wisely on the treats that keep them going!

Rental Camp Hosts

Besides our Wisconsin/Northern Michigan Assemblies of God Camps, we host a number of other groups throughout the summer. Maybe you can only get away on a weekend or for a short time? You could be a perfect host for those groups as you help them have a wonderful experience on our campground!

Nurse

For each camp week, we are in need of top notch nursing staff to help our campers stay healthy and safe! This position is paid and you must meet specific requirements.

Night Watch

To ensure the safety of our campers and that lights out time is enforced, we are seeking diligent leaders over the age of 18 who can help us monitor the overnight shifts for each week of camp.

About

In 1953 the family of Alvin Liljegren donated a piece of beautiful lakeshore property on the north end of Lake Minnesuing to the Assemblies of God for the purpose of being used as a Bible Camp.  Since 1954 thousands of lives have been changed by Jesus at Assembly Park.
